Select ball head, magic arm or mounting fixture to be used on OX plate.

Fig.1 From supplied parts bag, select threaded stud that matches the threaded mounting hole in fixture. There are two different lengths of threaded studs. Some mounting holes are shallower than others. If stud bottoms out exposing more than 3/8" use shorter stud.

Fig.2 Recommend that thread lock (which can be purchased from your local hardware store) be used if the fixture that will be dedicated to be used with OX plate. Apply a drop of thread lock to first couple of thread at the insertion end of stud.

Fig.3 & Fig.4 Insert thread stud with allen key in to fixture leaving 1/4" of the threaded stud exposed. Let dry to thread lock manufacture recommended time. When dry, fixture can be threaded into platform.

Hand tightening will be sufficient for most applications, but it can also be tighten or loosened using supplied allen key.

If thread lock is not used, hand tighten fixture with stud as described in Figure 4. Use allen key to turn the stud in reverse, locking the fixture in place.
